We need new frontline talent to enter the optometric industry, and this internship programme is intended to do precisely it.

The internship trial period could lead to something more.  As an intern, you will see their skills and work ethic and you might choose to bring them on as permanent employees down the line.

Interns bring new ideas to the table, a fresh approach.  Social media, computer programs & iPads are a piece of cake for young professionals – they know it all.

Gain brand advocates.  Hiring an intern helps spread the word about your practice- whether you mean to or not.  If you’re an impressive internship supervisor and mentor, your interns will most likely talk about their experience with peers, friends and family members, essentially advertising your practice.

You decide, anything from 3 months.

Q:  Why should I take part in the internship programme?

We need experienced optometrists and practices to mentor our talented candidates and to take them to the next level.

Q:  Can I hire the candidate after the agreed internship period?

Yes, you can offer the intern a permanent position, paying a nominal fee to Eye Learn.
